Friday, October 29, 2010. Day 5, our last day with Emma :(. Today was the boys Halloween parade at school. These three were the cutest audience members. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Some days I miss this baby more than I can stand. I wonder what she is doing in Heaven right now. Saturday, January 29, 2011. We took the kids to Rubys on the Huntington Beach pier tonight for dinner. Jack building his car. Owen being cute as ever. Ava is addicted to the cherries you get when you order cherry diet coke. This is her eating the one that was in my glass. She grabbed it before the waiter even put my cup down. And we ended the night at the happiest place on earth!

The Great Watkins Adventure! Saturday, January 15, 2011. A week in the life of the Watkins. Don't need to ever do that again. We enjoyed the rest of our evening and bonus! Tyler was finally tall enough to go on the Indiana Jones ride. Yay! Made yummy tacos with black beans on the side. This is how I kept the kids busy so I could make dinner. Hee hee. Streaming Dora videos and xbox 360 can be mom's little helper. That's about it for this week. Losing a child a Disneyland is one of my biggest fears!

Monday, August 12, 2013. Last night we had a special dinner as you can see. I decorated their plate with a Pencil treat cheap school supplies I bought at Walmart. For dinner we had homemade mac-n-cheese, veggies, and fruit. The kids enjoyed checking out their new school supplies. Levi said, "you bought me a blue phone! Sydney quickly learned how to use and calculator and the other two just pushed buttons around for a good 10 minutes before eating some cold mac-n-cheese, by the time the finally got to it.

A look inside the lives of the Christensens. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Anyone heard about Yonanas? It is a contraption that turns frozen bananas and other frozen fruit into ice cream! I absolutely LOVE ice cream, but ice cream equals fat and I have more than enough of that. So, for Christmas I asked for this magical Yonanas machine and my lovely mother got it for me :). Over the Memorial Day Weekend (May 26-29) 2006, Thorpes gathered from California, Nevada and around Utah to the official middle of nowhere (Ephraim, Utah) where many ancestors are buried. We ate together, worked in the cemetary and explored Sanpete County, where our Danish ancestors settled. The annual Scandinavian Festival provided context for the weekend.
