Crookwood Lake sits on a 6 acre site located in a quiet picturesque secluded valley on the outskirts of Devizes Town, near the village of Urchfont. The lake is accessed from the country lane between Urchfont and Potterne Wick, turning off the road beside Crookwood farm next to the railway bridge.Drive over the cattle grids to the bottom of the track and you enter the car park beside the Lake. Working in the Community. Welcome to 2397 (Devizes) Squadron, part of the UK’s Air Training Corps. We are a unit of on average 35 Air Cadets, boys and girls ranging in age from 12 to 20, taking on new challenges with the help of a dedicated team of volunteer staff interested in aviation and adventurous activities.
