We left Darwin on the 1st August, drove down to Litchfield national Park, drove in and spent 2 nights at Wangi Falls. A beautiful spot and the water was lovely we swam out to the waterfall and let the water cascade over our heads, that was the first afternoon, got out after 2 hours and did 1/2 of the rainforest walk until there were steps and could go no further, heaps of bats! We are now at Greenbank between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, stopping here until Sunday catching up with relatives and hopefully some elusive friends. Steve and Debs adventures. Tuesday, 26 August 2014. Well today we boarded the train to Kuranda, we saw lots of lovely waterfalls, Gorges and rainforest. Crossing stony creek bridge. Steve is busy working with Ray still waiting on building materials for the units, so in the mean time they are doing maintenance, I help out in th the sloe roadhouse washing dishes sweeping doing the slicing on the slicer.
