Friday, June 5, 2015. My love affair with Paris is over. On May 26th I broke up with my Paris blog. It was time. I had pretty much made up my mind a couple of years ago that I would not be retiring in Paris. It was a wonderful dream but the reality did not match the dream. It’s been a while since I’ve posted any updates regarding our second It Takes a Village. I am happy to report that with the combined efforts of Friends of Guinea Bissau. And It Takes a Village. We were able to raise the $10,000 needed to get her a new car. There is more to do as the roof has not been put on yet, but it is coming along. May 22, 2012.
