His little logical, rule following brain cracks me up sometimes. I let him know it was totally ok to bring a second favorite book. Today, Sam even rode his bike to school by himself for the first time. She really made me feel kind of bold and less frump. She is going to be one great little shopping buddy if I ever get around to doing that.

Monday, July 10, 2006. I don't know that I'm supposed to have any pictures of Aida, but we do. Lovely. Summer is treating the family well. We've pitched the tent out back, and are eating various grilled meats. The temperature is nice and hot during the day, and nice and gentle at night. I'm planning on going camping sometime, and talking my Uncle John into hiking Timp with me, but that will only happen when I get a few days off of work (which I do every day for hours) and get all of my belongings together.
