How Are We Run? Who are we and what do we do? We are a group that supports people with learning disabilities to speak up for themselves about things that are important to them. We also support groups of people with learning disabilities to speak up for themselves. How Are We Run? How are we run? Devon People First is run by a committee, which is elected by people with learning disabilities. We have one office in Mid Devon and one North Devon. Our offices are run by people with learning disabilities. We get help from support people we employ ourselves. These support people cannot vote or make decisions. We also get help from advisors who know about things like money, the law and other areas where we need help. At the moment Involve in Mid Devon.
