DEVSTOP has been started in response to Sainsbury's plan to build a vast new superstore in the small Kent town of Hythe. With only 15k residents the small town already has 3 supermarkets (the same as neighboring folkestone with 45k residents) Hythe certainly has no need for another supermarket. In fact, Kent County Councils own retail need figures indicate the proposed site would exceed the retail need in the whole of Shepway. See contact page for more details.
