Now this is all new to me but I'm finding it to be very easy with the help of the EDU 255 instructors. More to come. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cal's EDU blog spot.

OMG!! It's Alex's Blog...: Wiki on EI
http://lexihc.blogspot.com/2011/02/wiki-on-ei.html
Sunday, February 27, 2011. I would consider several reasons for including a wiki to help broaden students' understanding of the concept and how to apply the techniques they learn in real world application. To begin, students would be asked to add to the resources page regarding EI and explain who that resource was helpful in better understanding the concept of EI. Tue Mar 01, 10:50:00 AM MST. Hey, where is a link you your wiki? Fri Mar 04, 12:04:00 PM MST. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Not for This...

Deborah edu255: A New Pedagogy?
http://deborahedu255.blogspot.com/2010/09/new-pedagogy.html
Sunday, September 26, 2010. I feel I am very fortunate to know some of the basics of computer technology and I want to continue. Maybe I'll become a technology expert someday. Who knows? As Will Richardson wrote in our handbook, "a transition of epistemology (knowledge) and ontology (being) suggests technology needs to be employed to serve in the development of learners capable of participating in a complex environment.". September 26, 2010 at 9:24 PM. Anyway, its in on time and I hope it reads OK.

Jeri Hamilton: Reflection on Steve Hargadon and Social Networking
http://jerihamilton.blogspot.com/2011/03/reflection-on-steve-hargadon-and-social.html
Sunday, March 6, 2011. Reflection on Steve Hargadon and Social Networking. I totally agree with. Steve Hargadon when he states, “There is very real value in “moderating” or “guiding” your network. The nature of a social network site encourages free response and uncensored posts. If one were to use a social network within their classes, clear cut expectations for responses must be communicated. I definitely feel that some disciplines lend themselves better to a social network than others. I am currently a...

Jeri Hamilton: What Will Become of American Education?
http://jerihamilton.blogspot.com/2011/02/what-will-become-of-american-education.html
Sunday, February 20, 2011. What Will Become of American Education? Become of American Education? After looking at Will Richardson’s post “Crazy Days”. On Feb. 19, my grandmother’s words come to mind—“We’re all going to hell in a handbasket…”. This seems to sum up the state of the American education system after looking at the newspaper headlines and happenings across the country with regard to education. Truthfully, why would any sane person go into such a profession? 8220;I can work around a busy schedu...
