Vixen! (1968): eroticfilms
http://eroticfilms.livejournal.com/39495.html
Was one of the movie sensations of 1968. Although banned in many parts of the US it went on to make a truckload of money, and its massive commercial success led 20th Century Fox to sign the notorious sexploitation director to make big-budget mainstream movies for them. Or at least they thought they were going to get mainstream movies from him, which shows just how charmingly naïve movie studio executives could be. The eponymous heroine Vixen! Post a new comment. I haven't got through it all yet but here's a highlight for your delectation. Heres something else I enjoyed lately-. Posted by: dfordoom (. Posted at: October 31st, 2012 07:20 am (UTC). It's a wonderful movie! Pure solid gold trash. The DVD is very hard to find. I have a copy and it's a treasured possession.

Above is Carole Lombard in what Paramount Pictures called a "personality poster" - measuring 14" x 17", it was something theaters used to promote stars and add ambience to the lobby or foyer. Lombard signed with Paramount in mid-1930, and would remain with the studio through the end of 1937. Swing High, Swing Low" (1937)&...

Hello, anybody there? My Life . . . A Cover a Day. 04 July 2010 @ 11:54 am. Hello, anybody there? So just maybe, you’ll see something appearing in this space. 5 comments talk to me. On July 4th, 2010 04:03 am (UTC). And discovered that it supports Livejournal as well as Blogger. I'd like something along those lines. Unfortunately Windows Live Writer would be no use to me since I have a Mac. I'll have to look for something similar for the Mac. On July 4th, 2010 05:28 am (UTC). Cool, isn't it?

I know there are already quite a few LJ movie communities, but I’m hoping this one will be a bit different. I’m hoping it will be a community where discussions get a bit more in-depth than just who’s your favourite movie star? Or OMG my favourite movie is Gone with the Wind! There's only one real rule here - no political discussions of any kind. Politics has killed too many online groups.

Yeah, there's a bit of depth to it, which you normally don't expect from cheesy B-movies. It's not great cinema, but it's entertaining cinema, and that's where it really counts.
