Robbins Abroad: Officially in St. Louis
http://robbinsabroad.blogspot.com/2009/08/officially-in-st-louis.html
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. " 1Corinthians 15:58 (ESV). Friday, August 21, 2009. Officially in St. Louis. We did most of our work while Eli was napping. He also had his meals outside so we could get more work done. He loved being in the middle of things. So what did we get and how did it turn out? With lots of gray paint, red and black spray paint, I think we did pretty well. After: ...

Still in St. Louis: Preach It!
http://stillinstlouis.blogspot.com/2013/10/preach-it.html
Thursday, October 10, 2013. Dan is officially a minister in the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA)! Y'all, if you know anything about the PCA, you know that this is no small thing! I have the highest respect for our denomination and the care they give to their congregations. Becoming a pastor in the PCA is tough. I know without a doubt that these men have been through the ringer, but they do it because they have been called by God to care for His people. Announced as a minister! Now for that baby!

Still in St. Louis: A Big Sigh of Relief!
http://stillinstlouis.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-big-sigh-of-relief.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. A Big Sigh of Relief! So far, the month of September has been one long sigh of relief. Looking ahead to this month brought on many questions and with that, some stress and anxiety. Will Dan pass all of his ordination exams? Can we afford another ultrasound to see if my placenta has moved? Will we see that it has moved, eliminating the need for a scheduled c-section? Slowly but surely, each week has brought clarity, answers to prayer and hope. Posted by The Robbins and Co.

Wine, Water, and Blood: Daily Dose of Infixes
http://sailinghardships.blogspot.com/2008/11/daily-dose-of-infixes.html
Wine, Water, and Blood. Three planes of thought through which to sail. Monday, November 10, 2008. Daily Dose of Infixes. In some of today's random Facebook correspondence, I was struck by the following singular-to-plural conversion:. Passerby becomes passer s. Aha - an English infix. 30 seconds of Google use uncovered "spoonsful" and "cupsful" as companions of "passersby" — can anyone think of others? November 10, 2008 at 12:42 PM. November 10, 2008 at 1:26 PM. So does it work universally? Affixes (indee...

Amos the Photographer: All about the new firetruck...
http://amostakespictures.blogspot.com/2010/07/paraphrased-story-by-amos.html
Monday, July 12, 2010. All about the new firetruck. A paraphrased story by Amos.). I got a new firetruck! It's red and it has big wheels and a big ladder. It has a light that goes on when it drives really fast. On my pretend fire truck, there is an arm like a garbage truck (but no garbage) and it has a dark blue grabber that grabs onto telescopes when spaceships come. It grabs a spaceships and throws it and then the spaceship flies all by himself in space. Awsome firetruck.AND awesome pictures!
