There is always common ground. DFTH brings talented instructors to the Houston area for workshops as often as scheduling and opportunity allow. DFTH is a proud sponsor of the Houston Oriental and Foklore Dance Festival. The Houston Oriental and Folklore Dance Festival is an annual event that brings some of the biggest names in oriental dance and middle eastern folklore to Houston for a weekend of amazing workshops, shows, and an international competition. We began in 2005 with a benefit for the relief of victims of the Southeast Asia tsunami, through Oxfam America. In 2007, we established our nonprofit status and continued to provide assistance by donating proceeds to Lighthouse Houston and the Alzheimer's Association. This isn't the first one I've started, and it won't be the last. This one is certainly on the list of the more ambitious I've attempted, but it isn't impossible. I hope.

Diary of a First Time Home Buyer

Diary of a First Time Home Buyer. Monday, March 9, 2009. Ok, first post. Today is the day I am closing on my house.about 14 hours from now. Yeah, a little specific but oh well. I talked with my Realtor and my mortgage agent today and picked up the cashier's check for the down payment, so everything is in place and ready to go.
