I had been planning on going with a group to Kyoto around the time of the first blooming, but now am looking at making my own trip during the full bloom. I read that best viewing will be from the 3rd through the 12th, and I’ll be free for most of that time. I am hoping I can get it organized with my friends. March 15, 2014.

After spending several hours at Fushimi Inari, we headed over to Nara for the final part of our trip. Nara is a small town near Osaka that is known for its deer park.
