Laplander Bags: August 2010
http://laplanderbags.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 16, 2010. New rack attachment system! We recently partially re-designed the way our City Panniers. Attach to your rack. We still are going to use the rubberized hook and cinch-down, parachute cord system to hook the bags onto the bottom of a rack. But we wanted to improve on the velcro straps that secure the bags to the top of the rack. We want to extend the opportunity to existing Laplander customers to have their bags upgraded to this system if they choose. We are working out the det...

Laplander Bags: Riding Through Winter
http://laplanderbags.blogspot.com/2012/02/riding-through-winter.html
Saturday, February 11, 2012. Winter is still a great time to ride, it takes longer to get ready, toes and fingers might get cold but you get to see the landscape with no leaves which lets you spot things that would have other wise remain hidden . Here are a few pics from us and some of our customers! Juliet and I went for a great ride ride as the snow fell. Looks like a old quarry or maybe even mine entrance we had never seen before. We took a few minutes to warm up in the shelter of this covered bridge.

Laplander Bags: November 2010

Thursday, November 25, 2010. How Our Hooks Are Made. The hooks we use to secure our panniers to your rack may be a small component, but a lot of attention has gone into this simple piece of bent wire. Some of the spokes we use are anodized black while others are untreated stainless steel. After the hooks are bent into shape and the ends are trimmed, we rubberize the hook to keep it from scratching your bike or rack. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Like us on Facebook! Laplander Bags: January 2011
http://laplanderbags.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 3, 2011. This is our latest Porteur rack bag. It is based around the idea of making a bag that increases the capacity of the rack, mounts securely to the rack as well as is easy to dismount, and quickly converts into a back pack. This bag has been designed around the VeloOrange Porteur Rack. We can make a similar version of this bag for several widely available racks like, Cetma. All of the listed racks are available from our good friends at Bicycle Revolutions. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
