NEW PROJECT FOR DHBT - THE GUILDHALL, TAVISTOCK. Devon Historic Buildings Trust (DHBT) is thrilled to announce, after six years, that it has a new project - the first major historic building project since its completion of Cricklepit Mill in Exeter in 2004. DHBT has previously renovated the historic 18-21 Market Street properties in Tavistock from 1984 to 1988.

DEVON HISTORIC BUILDINGS TRUST. Page 1 Page 2. Devon Historic Buildings Trust awarded an Architectural Heritage Fund Grant in support of its Guildhall, Tavistock project. DHBT has been restoring historic buildings in Devon for 37 years during which time it has completed 41 projects. Examples are the major works performed to save the Haldon Belvedere from ruin and the restoration of the Cricklepit Mill that stands today as an important building in the Quay area in Exeter. Tavistock Police Force formed.

The supporters of the work of DHBT have banded together to form the 'Friends of the Trust' and this has proved to be of invaluable assistance in fundraising and in keeping in touch with the many buildings at risk in this very large county.
