May 12, 2016. Doing a PhD: 7 months on. I swear I am *THIS* close to throwing my laptop out the window. For the past few weeks I've been testing this new turbulence model that we hope to get published soon. But I swear at times the results of my simulations seem as random and chaotic as turbulence itself. Why does it do that? Why is that thing there on the plot? Wait, why is it gone now? Okay now make it disappear again.". This makes no sense! That's nowhere near enough time to solve ALL these problems!

I'm not perfect. I'm real. That's the mantra I say to myself over and over again, and that's the kind of stories I want to write in this blog . Imperfect, but real. Every now and then I would scroll through a social media platform and see some wordy articles about life, relationships, and growing up that someone has shared. But now instead of my usual 'ugh, boring'. Reaction, I could actually relate to them. If not for others, then for my future self. So here I am, being an open book. *Gulp*.
