Friday, October 26, 2012. Are filled with all things pumpkin: homemade pumpkin muffins, soup, carving, festivals and much more. Swinging from ropes in old barns! Tasting over 16 different types of apple juice and relishing in the flavors of each one. We are enjoying the St. Jakob Botanical Gardens and all of the beauty the gardens offer this time of year. We are hiking with new friends through beautiful villages. I love that we live in a country that still has "villages.". A little hike in the woods.

Our new mode of transportation these days! Noah in the white wheel! Views from the wheel. Noah enjoying the fall festival! A hike in Mu...

Tuesday, January 10, 2012. The holidays are now officially over. The laundry is piled sky high, the house needs a desperate overhaul, the tree has been put curbside and we had a lovely, memorable visit with family. Days were spent lingering over coffee, walks through town, biking with Noah, trekking in the Alps, eating our way through France and relishing time with loved ones…indeed our cups were quite full this Christmas. I feel quite fortunate that I stumbled across an article by Richard Louv entitled, Get Your Mind Dirty. From the June 2011 edition of Outside Magazine. Right Now We Are.
