Thursday, September 15, 2011. If anybody is still checking, I have been derelict in my blog posting. I have no great excuse. I have completed physical therapy. I do the assigned exercises every day. I take a walk using my trekking sticks every day and go to Curves 5 times per week. This is really paying off! I still have numb feet, but my endurance is much greater than before. I have strengthened my core muscles and my thigh muscles. All of this is good news as I am headed for Europe soon. Kate and Meg a...

Friday, April 6, 2012. Kate and Murray have been cleaning my garage and my storage areas. I have learned to say, "give it to Goodwill," without thinking twice. Amazing how much we accumulate and how much we do not need in the long run. I am thinking of moving to a retirement home/long-term care facility. Problem is - they are expensive and there are waiting lists. Here is a photo of Kate and family. all blonds with blue eyes. That is about it for now. Wishing you all the best. Friday, April 20, 2012. FRIDAY, APRIL 20, 2012. I have turned a corner, health-wise. I am feeling more energetic. I am doing outpatient physical therapy and that is helping me with balance, stamina, and walking. I may walk funny for the rest of my life because of neuropathy in my feet, but so be it. Saturday, March 5, 2011. Since last writing I have had my master bathroom redone and my bedroom repainted. Both projects turned out well and I am glad that I finally did this. I disliked my old bathroom tile from the beginning, twenty-five years ago. What was I waiting for? As you must know, the project took longer than expected and cost more. But I'm happy now that all's well. I went to Australia in February, arriving 10 hours before baby BOY Hugh was born. What an exciting time for all of us.
