I can't believe that it has almost been two months since I have written. I am sorry about the delay. We have been extremely busy around here and I just haven't gotten around to it. Somehow about 6 months has passed by since I last posted on the blog. So much has happened! Madelyn and her friends decorating their caps at the Yo Dude Cool Peace Party. McElroys venture from Decatur, Georgia to Tanzania. Saturday, December 10, 2011. Ever since I was a little kid, we have made gingerbread cookies around Xmas time. For a long time, I wasn't in charge of the measuring. I only got to mix. When I got a little older, around college age, I became more familiar with the nuts and bolts of the recipe. It calls for, among other things, 5 cups of flour. Are you joking? Note on the girl band: after 4 years of talking it up, we still haven't had one practice yet.
