Diary of an adult learning to swim. Monday, September 19, 2011. O2 in H2O - part 2. I feel a tad silly even writing this but I must be true to the experience so I will. Today I put my face in a big bowl of water with a small mirror in the bottom and practised breathing to the side per the instructions in the O2 in H2O. DVD There I said it! The exercises I did were:. I put my chin only in the water, breathed in through the mouth and out through my nose and watched the water ripple. Kind of cool actually.

Diary of an adult learning to swim. Saturday, July 23, 2011. Forced back into the water. After two weeks of being back from holidays and a week and a half of being back at work, I suffered a pretty bad lower back strain. I can’t pinpoint what caused it but it was the kind where you can barely. Walk, or sit, or move. One word – ouch! I have been going to the physio for relief which has been a helpful, if not rather expensive, exercise. See, I told myself – something good always comes of something bad.
