Diary of An Asylum Seeker. A work in progress. Wednesday, 22 August 2007. April 2, . A man attacked me in the pub today. I’d gone there because Ali likes to play snooker on weekends. Diary of An Aspiring Housewife
Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Shrimp and Grits Egg Benedict with Mixed Green Salad. Since jjeng has gone on a diet, I wanted to try and make a healthy alternative to our favorite traditional egg benedict recipe. So here's to experimenting! Cook grits with boiling salt water until thickened. Add freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Wait for sauce to thicken. Pour sauce out onto a pan and refrigerate for a few hours. Next, time for the creamy shrimp sauce! So today at WholeFoods I was "wow"ed! Clean asparagus and c...

Diary of an Aspiring Nerd
Thursday, January 16, 2014. If it hasn't become clear by the timespan between the last few posts, this blog has been neglected. In the past I would say that it's because I've been distracted or busy with other things or just lazy, but it has actually been purposeful this time. So it is with much sobriety (ok, just a little sobriety) that I am "closing" this blog. I'd like to think that it's hopefully signifying my evolution from "Aspiring Nerd" into "Actual Nerd" -time will tell. Links to this post.

Diary of an Attic
Diary of an Attic. Monday, March 14, 2005. Well, the carpet was installed last Thursday. We spent the weekend starting to remove the layer of dust from the rest of the house. This week I will do the final touch-ups on the baseboard and walls where they were scratched by the carpet. I still need to paint the windows, if I can get to that this week that would be great, otherwise it can wait until spring. Posted by Aaron at 6:07 PM. Even Kitty is Helping. Monday, Week Five.
