Friday, August 08, 2014. Nordic Travel Companions' Knit-Along with Sleep Season Goods. Our friend Megan makes stunning yarn. We all chose a few different patterns to knit with our single skein. Megan knit the slouchy Sockhead Hat, a simple hat with a ribbed brim that folds up and finishes with a stockinette stitch slouch. Perfect for a travel project! We all love the deep teal grey color of our special yarn, and what a magical hand knit souvenir of our trip together! Best magical surprise color-way ever!

We love the look of this fisherman style shirt in the canvas weight solid the sample is sewn in, but we decided to try out some crazy prints. I shortened my sleeve length and hem length quite a bit, as I found the full length made me feel a bit like a clown w...

Amber and Jaime in traditional Muhu dress. We took a day to explore this island which is a 2 hour drive and 20 minute ferry ride away from Tallinn. Muhu, like a lot of Estonia, is mostly rural with beautiful thatch-roof houses and a few windmills dotting the landscape. It is a...Of co...
