Not far from where we live, we are able to see a few good places. One day we made a trip to St Andrews and took the coastal route back home, stopping here and there. Friday, 6 November 2009. Bonfire night at Hopetoun House. We like to think of ourselves as fireworks enthusiasts and so every year we look out for local displays and off we go with our cameras, tripod, lenses etc. This year, as we now live across the bridge in Dunfermline, the local display was from the famous Hopetoun House. Here is a taste of what we saw after slipping and sliding through mud to get to the view point in front of a huge bonfire and stunning light up Hopetoun House. Sara and Clark Botha.

Saturday, 15 August 2009. Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island. Friday, 7 August 2009. Wayne and family are visiting and with such glorious summer weather we headed off to enjoy the beauty and history of Scotland. Lochleven castle is a ruin on a tiny island in Loch Leven, Perthshire. Thursday, 23 September 2010. Not far from home. About 5 miles from our home is one of the more beautiful little towns in Scotland. I have always passed it, but on my way back home a few weeks ago, I thought that I had some time to spare, and turned in to Limekilns. What a stunning race to run. It's a point to point race. You take a bus to the beginning and run through beauthiful San Diego on a summers day. Jacques and Natasa's Beeld. What are they up to now? Tuesday, October 07, 2008. In July I did my first triathlon. I was petrified to think that my first one would be a swim in the ocean, but my only saving grace was that it was a "sprint" triathlon, which means a short one. The swim was 400m in the San Diego Ocean then a 10km cycle and a 3 mile run. It was just AMAZING - enough to get me hooked. Here he is coming in to the finish. View my complete profile.
