Brownlee's Beeswax: Back at it...
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2015/06/back-at-it.html
Thursday, June 11, 2015. It is June 10th. It is the first day of summer vacation. It is sunny and 80 perfect degrees outside. And yet, I'm blogging. Don't get me wrong. I did spend the first five hours of my day in the back yard. pulling weeds, trimming bushes, cutting down trees. But now my arms are scraped and puffy, my eyes are swollen, I can't hear out of my left ear, and I can't breathe out of my nose. I'm house-bound by my allergies. I love. On to third grade. So glad you are back! On to third grade.

Brownlee's Beeswax: February 2007
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 24, 2007. I caught her trying to close her eyes, but you can tell she was having a great time with us! This morning Drew called and asked if we could watch Sydney. Today So, she spent the morning and early afternoon with us. We had a lot of fun on a walk in the rain, and playing with an egg separator. But by far her favorite thing to do was to play Zelda with Merrick. (Well, she for sure liked trying to get the controller into her mouth). You can tell just how thrilled she is with Zelda.

Brownlee's Beeswax: August 2006
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 30, 2006. I'm leaving on a jet plane. Tomorrow morning we are leaving town (again), this time flying to Europe! Merrick has a job interview in Villach, Austria on Monday morning. I was lucky enough to be invited to go with him. AND, the company is paying for the whole trip. You just can't beat that. Most people who know me, know that I love to travel. That hasn't changed, but I am starting to hate the packing and unpacking process. Since June 10, there has not be a. Rain is grace; rain ...

Brownlee's Beeswax: Quick glance :: February...
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2015/06/quick-glance-february.html
Thursday, June 11, 2015. Quick glance : February. February feels like it was eons ago. Let's see what I can remember. Isaac is in the middle of a hat stage. It is his favorite word. He will always wear a hat (if one is available) even if it should be on Mr. Potato Head. Late start mornings allow the kids to wake up on their own AND eat breakfast at the table (rather than in the car). We are big fans of the 9:15 start time! A Home Depot morning for these two builders. About a year ago I heard that Cindere...

Brownlee's Beeswax: Quick glance :: March...
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2015/06/quick-glance-march.html
Thursday, June 11, 2015. Quick glance : March. March is when the busyness really kicks in around here. And, by the time Spring Break hits, we are all in need of some time off. The weather this spring was amazing. Lots of sun meant lots of time to play outside, watch soccer games, play at parks, etc. March was a pretty great month. We love watching Ella play soccer. and love playing with cousins after the game. Isaac still isn't walking, but can find plenty of trouble wherever he goes. For some reason Ada...

Brownlee's Beeswax: Quick glance :: May...
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2015/06/quick-glance-may.html
Thursday, June 11, 2015. Quick glance : May. Our first neighborhood fire and s'mores night! AKA a really fun way to burn our yard debris "legally."). Council Crest "hike" on a beautiful day in Portland. Wunderland for Merrick's birthday. his choice, of course. This sweet girl is growing up quickly. Thankfully, she'll still fall asleep in my bed while I read to her. Isaac and the slide. He climbs up, but then waits until everyone is watching (and counting for him) before he'll go down. Silly boy. We relea...

Brownlee's Beeswax: Quick glance :: January...
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2015/06/quick-glance-january.html
Thursday, June 11, 2015. Quick glance : January. I won't have time to catch up, in detail, all that we have done over the past few months. Instead I'll just give you a glimpse into our somewhat mundane, but always busy lives. January: It seems like more often than not January starts off like this: cold, crisp and beautiful. I think it is God's way of helping us survive after a long night of staying up late with our friends. I've had the chance to spend every Tuesday at school with Grace this year. It...

Brownlee's Beeswax: Quick glance :: April...
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2015/06/quick-glance-april.html
Thursday, June 11, 2015. Quick glance : April. Oh April. I blinked and you were gone. I've said it before, but Isaac loves being outside. If it is raining, he's happy in the garage. I think he just likes the change from his usual. He will sit for a long time with a ball, dropping it between his legs, and then catching it after one bounce. It is pretty impressive, really. Another Timbers game and another beautiful night in downtown. Isaac discovered the "little green men." At about this same age, Clai...

Brownlee's Beeswax: January 2007
http://teambrownlee.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 29, 2007. I have been loving this sunny weather. quite a change from the snow of two weeks ago. I was on a walk in the Murray Hills area the other day, and it was so beautiful. I decided I wanted to go hike at Multnomah. Falls this weekend. We ended up driving out with Dorsey and Charles on Saturday, with a picnic packed, to do some hiking. We didn't spend a lot of time at the top, just enough to look over the edge and take a few pictures, before headed back down to find food and warmth.
