Different. Not less. Musings from an autistic young adult. Mono and Christmas (general update). I had about half a post written about how I had mono and was really tired, but I was too tired to finish it. Now I’m feeling a lot better and decided to just rewrite it. I keep reading about people-first language (or whatever it is called) and… apparently I have an opinion about it, and whoa, I have a blog, so I guess I’ll talk about it or something. Now, I understand the idea. It’s a nice idea. But… Isn’t it more important to do that with actions, not words? Does she know every child with autism? 1 I am a child with autism.
