Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Anyone remember this room? Yeah That's our 2nd bath/laundry room. And that wallpaper was the first thing to go, the day we got our keys in November 2009. Last year we had a work party and all the kids had a blast demolishing this room. Unfortunately. it sat like this for about a year before I got fed up. We are having 6 relatives come stay for a weekend. That means 9 people - 1 toilet. You could call that incentive. So the hubby added some drywall. I was pretty proud of myself.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011. I'm also super stoked about our stockings this year. We really needed new ones, plus the babies didn't have any of their own yet. Saturday, January 26, 2013. Meeting Young House Love! Dan and I headed out to Rejuvenation. In Portland today and I got to meet John and Sherry Petersik of Young House Love. At their book signing. I was so excited all day and I even wanted to bring my painting socks for Sherry to sign (as a gag) but my husband forbade me stating that was disgusting and please don't make that poor nice lady sign your nasty sock. Ha! They are absolutely hilarious! Painting the town RED! I got one of these for Christmas.

Tuesday, December 10, 2013. So there was a small hole in the wall. And these little girls dumped the contents of my purse down the hole. Repeatedly. And one day I'd had enough. I'd been dreading this wall because there was an actual crack in the drywall running all along the bottom and it all needed to be fixed. Then I got this bright idea!
