The Dig in Stratford

The Dig in Stratford. The excavations at the front of New Place, Stratfo. 4th June 2010. After a period of consolidation wit. View my complete profile. Wednesday, 23 June 2010. The brick rubble has all been removed (about a metre deep), now revealling a burnt edge, and a black sooty bottom - both suggestive of a major fire. That's all fine - but what on earth is this - why dig a substantial pit simply to burn things? Labels: Shakespeares rubbish in sight? Friday, 4 June 2010. The river end of the main tr...

The Dig in Stratford: Making progress

http://www.diggerkemp.blogspot.com/2010/04/making-progress.html

The Dig in Stratford. View my complete profile. Friday, 30 April 2010. The dig at Shakespeare's house in Stratford is really looking good now with loads of questions raising themselves. I think the overall message is . 'nothing is as it appears'. It needs a good clean and recording. A little look the other day showed it was not at all clear and that it was not exclusively stone or even drystone (I saw both bricks and mortar within it). I hope so. watch this space for more.

The Dig in Stratford: May 2010

The Dig in Stratford. Slow progress on the dig, but NEW is the revelatio. View my complete profile. Thursday, 13 May 2010. Slow progress on the dig, but NEW is the revelation that the brick walls we thought were the cellar walls of the 1702 mansion are not (yet again) what they seem. Meanwhile the second of the four quadrants in the Knot Garden is making slow progress, whilst work in the so-called 'brewery area' moves along. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Digger John's Garret Studio

Digger John's Garret Studio. An armchair by the fire of life. Sunday, September 21, 2014. It's been very quiet here for a year or so, but that's because my writerly time has been spent drafting, honing, editing and polishing the "first" (really, now it's done, the fifth) draft of my second novel. Not saying this blog will suddenly burst back into life, but I may have a little more time for it now that. I've sent Gatekeeper out to my small cadre of beta-readers! Friday, August 15, 2014. Since then the rat...

Sensual Dementia

Sunday, December 6, 2009. His off-the-wall comments seemed to always keep me off balance and it was just difficult chatting with him. But chat we did, and he was trying to warm me up, and I suppose he succeeded because we did become friends after chatting the first night. The next night, it was nearly midnight when he appeared and asked if he could spank me. Don't let anyone tell you Linux never crashes or freezes up. It does. Labels: second life bdsm. Reality & Redemption | A struggle for freedom

A struggle for freedom. Is it possible to have a happy married life without any intimacy? February 11, 2018. A couple of things have lead to me making a post here. One was a fellow who commented on this post. From April 2007 (yeah, almost 10 years ago! The other was another online forum where the title if this article was the question. Below is how I answered that question. So while I would never describe what we have as a happy married life that doesn’t mean I’m never happy. There are a couple of ke...
