DiJiTized control systems all come standard with communcations. You may choose between RS232 and RS485 by simply selecting the proper jumper connections on most systems. Other options, such as DeviceNet and Ethernet are available as stacker (daughter) boards. USB connections are available on some systems for saving and downloading profiles and recipes. The Next Generation control packages utilize a new microprocessor family. These chips are flash programmable, which means changes can be easily made through FTP downloads from our FTP site. Our Legacy Bridge Products make RS485 converters and PLCs optional when it comes to monitoring contact status. Our Legacy Products are designed to replace, or bridge the gap, between a controller and a PLC via our WinChill hardware/software interface. Remote ON/OFF via on-board relay is available on either Bridge Product. These products have been on the market for approximately 15 years, and have been extensively tested for reliability and quality.
