Lightning Bug Lane: New Co-workers
http://lightningbuglane.blogspot.com/2008/11/new-co-workers.html
Sunday, November 9, 2008. A couple weeks ago my co-worker, Cheryl, and I decided that what our office really needed was a pair of gerbils. What could possibly inspire creativity better than small fuzzy rodents? After getting the necessary approval from our boss, we set ourselves up with Gulliver and Memo. Everyone should have office gerbils! Posted by Nellie Sue. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Lightning Bug Lane: September 2007

Monday, September 10, 2007. So much for our tomatoes this year! Evidently these guys agree with us that our cherry tomatoes are pretty tasty. We had enjoyed lots already, with promise of plenty more (probably until the first frost), but when we returned from vacation, the garden was devastated. Between the worms and the drought, it just didn't stand a chance. :(. Posted by Nellie Sue. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Pieces of Becca: August 2007

Monday, August 27, 2007. Well a new school year has begun, and with it many new things. My first two classes this morning. getting a car. trying out living on my own for a few weeks. This summer was crazy. I came back from Norway only to find I had no where to live and chose to move back in with Nathan, my older brother. Its not really so bad, I just need more space to myself :-) I'm sure that is understandable :-). And I love the people I work with! It was a blast! I was sooo tired :-). Not much to me e...

the JanЄric blog: January 2008
http://hullquist.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 31, 2008. Today was the last day of early voting for the presidential primaries so after work we went out and voted. The line was short and we were in and out within about 10 minutes. Woohooo! If you haven't voted already, be sure and do so on February 5. Make your vote count. After voting we paid way. Too much for tofu curry on rice at a Vietnamese restaurant that will not be getting our endorsement. Thursday, January 31, 2008. Links to this post. Sunday, January 27, 2008. Is a groundb...

the JanЄric blog: August 2009
http://hullquist.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. I'm sure some of you have been wondering where we've been and why the last post is now nearly a year old already! Firstly let me just say that the main reason for this blog originally was to keep our friends and family up-to-date with what we were doing. So why did we quit? Much of this had to do with Facebook. So we joined Facebook and are now able to post our own individual photos, say what we want to say individually, and can monitor who gets to see this information!

the JanЄric blog: Fall Colors on the River
http://hullquist.blogspot.com/2008/11/fall-colors-on-river.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Fall Colors on the River. This Sabbath our friend David George called and asked if we wanted to join him out on his boat and take a trip down-river to look at the pretty fall colors. We of course said "yes". :). It was a tad bit chilly at top speed, but the sky was clear and the sun warm, which also made for LOTS of good picture opportunities. C's sister and family which was a fun surprise! We were very hungry at this point and so decided to try out the new Red Robin.

the JanЄric blog: Sunday Project -- New Flowerbed
http://hullquist.blogspot.com/2008/11/sunday-project-new-flowerbed.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Sunday Project - New Flowerbed. On Sunday we decided to finally start working on our latest home-improvement project - a new flowerbed in the front yard. This has been on our list. For quite some time now and now that the weather is starting to get cooler we decided that there was no better time than the present. Just a week ago we managed to get our old hand-me-down roto-tiller running for the first time. To test it out, Er! But our front yard is starting to look MUCH nicer!

Lightning Bug Lane: June 2008

Friday, June 6, 2008. There and Back Again. The month of May went by in a blur. The first two weeks I was at an old soviet youth camp in Czech Republic for work. At some point I'll post some photos, but for now we'll gloss over that to get to the good stuff. From Czech Republic, I flew to Rome, where I met Eric. We then spent two wonderful weeks exploring Italy together. For our 3rd anniversary, we stayed in a cute little walled city named Lucca. To visit my Picasa gallery. Posted by Nellie Sue.
