Every frame (of which there are 1,277! Was individually scanned and then cropped and adjusted in Photoshop to prepare them to go to clean-up. Importing them into Premiere and timing them out allowed me to see them moving for the first time and check for any problems before sending to Victoria Clark. Shots were then put in a zip file and sent to Ben Morriss who would composit every frame into After Effects using my timed shots as guidance. Here are a couple of tests Ben made to composit the 2D against the backgrounds. Some of the 2D shots were looking a bit rough around the edges in After Effects, so he also made a 'before and after' test to see what a blurred edge and some filters did to help make the layering look smoother.
