Saturday, July 04, 2015. I took the girls to see Newsies yesterday. It was a great show! Gianna especially loved it. We had great seats too but I think anywhere you sit in the Opera House is good. Sunday, July 26, 2015. My girls had a lot of fun these past four days at Nationals. They enjoyed being with all their friends and dancing on the big stage. They won some awards too which is always nice. One Moment in Time" 1st place teen large group. Julia's duo was amazing and won a platinum plus which is the highest you can get! I was so excited to celebrate Paul this year! This past Friday, we headed out for a fun family road trip to Los Angeles to visit with Paul's sister Jenny, her husband Omar, and our three wonderful nieces. How lucky am I? A letter from my grandpa. I was going through some of my old things the other day and I am so glad to have run across this letter from my Papa! To think that he wrote this letter 22 years ago, almost to the exact day. What a wonderful Papa I had! So here's the letter from my Papa! Hope you can read it okay. I was in the third grade and had just written a book as a class project (I wrote about trolls haha! And my grandparents were my biggest fans. His advice still rings so true today!

We had such a fun June date! I am so happy with how it turned out. We wanted to try something a bit different this time around so we went to the Lafayette Reservoir and rented a paddle boat! It was so fun to be out on the water and it all felt even a little adventurous. Well, about as adventurous as we have been in a while, that's for sure! Not too hot at all, and in fact, it was nice and cloudy and windy. Made for a perfect day for paddle boats. It was so wonderful out there on the water! I love the atm...
