Life of Lacey: Merry Deskmas
http://lifeoflacey.blogspot.com/2013/12/merry-deskmas.html
Thursday, December 26, 2013. We've started something. Two years in a row, John and I have designed and built Charley's main gift from us. So I guess we'll be designing and building her Christmas presents from now on. I hope she likes her wooden car with square wheels we'll build for her on the Christmas when she's sixteen! I'm sure she'll be thrilled! So this year, before I got this crazy desk idea I had planned on buying Charley the IKEA easel. Her similarly aged daughter received for her birthday.

Life of Lacey: May 2015
http://lifeoflacey.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 18, 2015. So back to bragging. This post in particular - 100% bragging. Bragging on both Charley and John. At 1:00 John came into our bedroom (he's been sleeping on the couch while Laney is in our room for the time being) to help. Can I just say how awesome he's been already? So freaking lucky. He just wanted to make sure I got enough rest and she is just the best listener and sweetest thing in the world. I'm a lucky, lucky girl. Links to this post. Labels: Being a Mama. Life of Lacey: Laney: 3 Months
http://lifeoflacey.blogspot.com/2015/07/laney-3-months.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. Here is what else she's been up to this month. Sleep is still really great. She now goes down around 9:15-9:30 and sleeps straight through until 6:30 when we wake her during the week. Weekends she'll either sleep a little later, or she'll decide to play a little game of revenge and wake ME at 6:30 since she's used to waking at that time. She usually goes back down for a nap very soon afterwards. A in the sleep department, Laney Bug! It is officially official: Laney is a happy baby!

Two Adults, Two Brown Babies: February 2014
http://twoadultsonebrownbaby.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 24. No one is perfect. Yesterday I took Ezra to Noodles for lunch and we sat at the little counter with the twirly seats, even though the height of the twirly seats would guarantee that Ezra would be either wearing or dropping most of his Wisconsin Mac and Cheese. The eat-in counter is near the food prep area so we watched the staff make the dishes. Mama, is that person a boy or a girl? He asked me while pointing at one particular staff member. To be honest, I didn't know. This made me h...

The Cost of Having Wisdom Teeth Removed | Swistle
http://www.swistle.com/2015/03/16/the-cost-of-having-wisdom-teeth-removed
I acknowledge my luckiness, without giving up my claim to the suckiness. The Cost of Having Wisdom Teeth Removed. I felt I wasn’t getting ANY solid information, but I did come away with two valuable impressions:. 1 It was not likely to be covered by health insurance. 2 It was likely to be a “thousands” expense, as opposed to “hundreds” or “tens of thousands.”. 8221; I suggested. “It would be a very difficult angle to get right,” the billing clerk said. The cost of the wisdom-teeth removal will be almost ...

Life of Lacey: April 2015
http://lifeoflacey.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 26, 2015. Loved By So Many. A few weeks ago we celebrated my twin nieces' eleventh birthday. Charley LOVES her big cousins who she affectionately calls LoriLindsay (all one word) so she was very excited about their birthday party with our family. You should've been there. Ha. So a couple of days later my sister Christy and her husband Chris were at Wal-Mart and Christy said to Chris "I wonder if I should get a little something for Charley? And Chris replied "I think so! So anyways, my siste...

Life of Lacey: Stuff We Like So Far - Laney edition
http://lifeoflacey.blogspot.com/2015/06/stuff-we-like-so-far-laney-edition.html
Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Stuff We Like So Far - Laney edition. So I know I posted a list like this. For Charley way back in January 2012. But three years, three months and a different child makes a huge difference apparently because I just went back to read that one and NONE of the stuff in that list are on this list. Ha! While I do still love the City Mini stroller on Charley's list, we haven't even used it one time yet with Laney. Anyways, on to the stuff we are liking so far this time. On Charley's lis...
