A weapon of mass destruction, suitable for slashing your way through the jungle, has been purchased and, with the help of Himself, the hop-infested weed suppressant is no more - ha! He had to pull it back (no easy task), whilst I hacked at the roots. It weighs a ton. Victory is sweet (and quite a relief – first major obstacle overcome). It’s covered with nettles and other weeds. I found some cardboard in the garage and put it down on top of the nettles, not as my first stab at lasagne gardening, but simply for easier access.
