Wednesday, October 29, 2008. As you can see from my most recent posts, we are big into breakfast. I hate cold cereal. So I have to come up with lots of different breakfast ideas. I have always thought that German pancakes were good, but really greasy due to the large amounts of butter you put in the pan before the batter. I found this recipe and love it. We have it frequently. 2/3 cup sifted flour. 2 T soft butter (I just use enough to grease the bottom of the pan like a cake). Tuesday, October 14, 2008.

Monday, September 29, 2008. This is one of those reciepes that is hard to give exact measurements but ask me if any questions. Next time I'm going to try adding some tomato sauce. 1 pkg frozen rhoades rolls - defrosted (or you can make your own dough). 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, diced. 1/2 head cabbage cut thin (or buy package of coleslaw w/out dressing). 1 Saute onion then add hamburger and season as desired. 2 Add cabbage and let it cook down until it is almost see thru. PF Chang's Lettuce Wraps. 2 Chicken Breast Filets. 1 Cup Minced water chestnuts. 2/3 Cup Fresh Mushrooms – Chopped. 3 T Green Onion – Chopped. 1 tsp Minced garlic (1 clove). Bring 2 T. of vegetable oil to high heat in wok or large frying pan. Saute the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes per side or until done. Remove from pan. Add minced water chestnuts, chopped green onion, garlic and chopped mushrooms to pan and saute. 8 T Soy Sauce. 8 T Brown Sugar.
