This blog will include anything and everything that amuses me. Enjoy! Monday, December 1, 2008. Pumpkin Ravioli with Sage Brown Butter Sauce. I began by making my filling. I mixed the pumpkin, ricotta cheese, tomato paste, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, salt and pepper together. Now that I think about it, an egg may have been a good idea, but I didn't have any issues with the filling staying together. 15 cups pumpkin puree. 5 cups ricotta cheese. 2 tablespoons tomato paste. Salt, pepper to taste.

I won't even tell you the expiration date on this package for fear they will accuse me of child abuse - however I did smell it and it smelled fine! I was all set to start ripping, dipping and dunking when I opened the box of Panko crumbs to find only a half of a cup in the bottom of the bag.what to do what to do. No problem. Friday, September 3, 2010. 1 can black beans (rinse). 1 pinch red pepper flakes. 1 pinch black pepper. 1 pinch seasoned or plain salt. 1/2 T Olive Oil. Rinse your black beans and place them in a food processor (a blender may work just as well). Peel your garlic cloves and toss them in as well. Chop up your onions and add them in and sprinkle in your seasonings. Pour in oil. Blend until your Hummus is smooth. It'll look like a think paste or dip. Dip in some home made salsa and enjoy! Clone of a Cinnabon.

Monday, August 31, 2009. The Season's Last Blueberries! My Aunt Ruthie made our last blueberry pie of the season - and it was WONDERFUL! Even though it was 60 degrees and raining up here in the Catskills - it tasted like summer - and we didn't want it to end! Summer's last Blueberry Pie. 1 (9 inch) pie shell - baked. 1 (8 oz) cream cheese. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 quart blueberries (to be divided). Wash and drain blueberries.
