I am from the Southeastern US, and I truly enjoy life here. I have lived and traveled elsewhere, including out of the country, but I always return to the Southeast. I like its charm, relaxed pace, and friendliness. Is it perfect? No. But holding hands on the front porch after dinner, watching a summer sunset, sipping a tall icy glass of sweet tea, and watching fireflies flicker across the freshly-mown yard...well, that is a perfect time to reflect.
