So, I know we haven’t blogged in quite some time. I guess Life gets in the way of things like this and we have our schedules synced and are back in action! For tonights’ tasty meal, Darren brought out the Wok! Served over rice, even though it was spicer than I normally like, it was fantastic! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

We never eat the same thing twice! Laquo; Pasta a la Darren. Posted May 19, 2011 by Tamara in dinner. Tonight, Darren grilled salmon (line caught, NOT farm raised) and paired thay with lemon-grass rice. (We cheated a bit as this was from Trader Joes, and it is fabulous! We also enjoyed our first spring harvest of green onions along with some canned beets from the 2010 harvest. Another great meal on a beautiful night! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. We never eat the same thing twice! And, We are back! No…Herbie goes Chicken! Posted May 29, 2011 by Tamara in dinner. While grilling over charcoal briquettes, it was basted with the same herbs used in the butter mix but this time mixed with olive oil, white wine and vinegar. It had the most golden brown skin when it was done, as you can see in the pic. We kept the rest of the meal simple with baked beans and grilled garlic naan (Indian bread) that used up the rest of the Herbed butter! And, We are back!

dinner with da lynner | The greatest WordPress.com site in all the land!
Dinner with da lynner. The greatest WordPress.com site in all the land! Last night I made Beef and Mushroom Casserole. Instead of just following one recipe, I improvised…. 1 can cream of mushroom soup. 1 can (4 ounce size) sliced mushrooms. 1 envelope instant onion soup mix. 1/2 cup milk and 1 cup beef broth. 3 pounds stew meat. Combine all ingredients and cook on low for 8 hours. Verdict: This meal is FANTASTIC! A little late with this post but here it is…. I left it in the crockpot too long. (thoug...

We never eat the same thing twice! Best burger in town! We found it at home! Posted by Tamara in dinner. We have been in a search for the best burger in town and wherever we go, nothing has even come close to being in our top 5, or top 10 if anyone is counting. Tonight Darren made us a double stacked grilled cheeseburger. Not your ordinary cheesebuger. This had all of the fixings you could want and we both piled them on high. (So high, we could only finish half of it! Oh, and fresh watermelon for dessert!

Dinner with David | Where eating well and a busy schedule can coexist
Where eating well and a busy schedule can coexist. Leftover Taco Meat Scramble. To mix up the monotony of scrambled eggs (over-easy, oh how I miss thee), we seasoned the pan by first adding leftover seasoned ground turkey from Thursday night’s taco salad. Scramble eggs as usual, and top with your choice of taco-friendly ingredients. In my case, that was avocado, tomatoes and goat milk yogurt. Preheat oven to about 400 degrees and then prep the veggies:. Next, prep the meatballs:. More thyme for you!
