Tuesday, 29 April 2014. A foggy, murky start before work and the Sedge Warbler was being particularly elusive but eventually got good views. I managed to see 2 Nightingales, one in the scope. Saturday, 30 May 2015. The Burgh/Amberley Wild Brooks (25/05/2015). A quick walk at the Burgh and managed a couple of Corn Bunting including a singing male. Also 3 Red-legged Partridges. Later went with Dad to Amberley but couldn't get to the river so made do with the marshes where 4 or 5 small hawkers were probably Hairy Dragonflies. Tuesday, 28 January 2014. I then went onto Sopley where I couldn't find the Green-winged Teal in the horrible conditions. At Harbridge I ticked off the lone Bewick's Swan and then moved to Blashford Lakes where I at least salvaged some of the day with a Black-necked Grebe, drake Red-crested Pochard and Lesser Redpoll (but no sign of any Common Redpolls). At Kingfisher Lake I had a couple of brief views of what was probably the Ferruginous Duck but the views weren't tickable. Tuesday, 21 January 2014.
