Monday, 25 May 2015. 51 Deg 19 Min 40.3 sec N; 1 Deg 25 MIn 11 Sec. Equates to Ramnsgate Marina. Hopefully in the morning I will get confirmation that the water pump is on the way. Also had a nice greeting from our neighbours at Shotley who stopped at Ramsgate today on Tante Helena (2 berths away). Thursday, 31 March 2016. Here we are end of March 2016 and a favourable weather window has opened. Steve is joining me and hopefully we will depart Friday for Ramsgate and onwards to Dover, Brighton and Gosport. Tuesday, 1 July 2014. July 1st, 2014 - Brighton. Weather windy with some rain showers so decided to go up to London to see the family for the day! Mike Stevens Rigging came and re-tensioned the rigging so all set for the last stages. June 29th 09:00:- Depart for a short hop to Eastbourne which will be the take off point for Ramsgate. Monday, 3 March 2014. Home Port March 2014. Dipper Too is reasonably well equipped, but we decided to add some solar power in case we wanted to spend a few days anchored or moored in an estuary. As some of you may know, our trials with a wind generator have consumed copious hours to reduce vibration and transmitted noise, and although we have made substantial reductions, solar is far quieter when one is on board! Monday, 11 April 2016. Hamble and on to Brixham - our new home for the boat. Having left the boat at Hamble Point, all we need is a weather window plus tides to get us down to Brixham. On Monday April 11th it looked like a small window of a couple of days will open, then more rain and winds. We set out from Hamble to Yarmouth in the Isle of Wight on the Tuesday with the plan to try for Brixham in one passage on Wednesday. Yarmouth positioned for departure the next day.
