Diary of a Sinclair Method Patient. Week 11: May 23-29, 2013. Hmm. Maybe I’m not a rat after all. I experimented this week with the idea that maybe I was trying too hard. That is that maybe by trying consciously to limit my drinking while on Naltrexone, I was actually hurting my cure because I wasn’t allowing the extinction to work. Diary of a Sinclair Method Patient. Week 14: June 14-June 19, 2013. A very good week. Not quite the largest drop I’ve ever had over a seven day period (I had a couple of bigger ones in March and in the very first weeks of the treatment. But this is the biggest drop I’ve had Thursday to Wednesday (i.e. corresponding with the weekly reporting period). Here’s my standard chart showing my progress:. Diary of a Sinclair Method Patient. Day 366: Suddenly I’m at 0. After my discussion last week about my lack of progress. Sudden progress. I haven’t had a drink in 5 days. My cumulative average is now exactly 5 units/day and set to go under 5 for the first time this evening. And so on and so on.
