Monday, August 10, 2009. A Tribute to Rome: Total War. I've played a fair amount of PC games. From a critical viewpoint, Rome TW is a solid game. But it manages to excel in a criteria that somewhat goes unaddressed in these modern times of mindless shooters and Madden 1's. Rome isn't the most difficult game, not by any means. Managing your empire can be tricky, but its do-able. Rome isn't the prettiest, but the graphics are nice. The sounds aren't the best, but they get the job done and then some.

Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Sometime last week, my friend (Draenoth) and I, picked up Killing Floor on Steam. Killing Floor is a co-op zombie survival game that was originally a mod for UT2004. It's now a standalone game still using the UT2004 engine. As you'd expect for a mod turning full game, it isn't the most amazing piece of software.
