A character driven actual play Labyrinth Lord campaign journal. October 2, 2011. This entry is part 2 of 6 in TD1α Origins. Uring the first couple of months in 2011, I came across a few campaign journals that were very entertaining reads. Of particular note was Philotomy’s The Lost City. Write-up. Although I disagree with Philotomy on which edition of Dungeons and Dragons works well in actual play, I connected with his approach to the game. My wee baby tot just rolled her first natural 20! I do not want ...

A character driven actual play Labyrinth Lord campaign journal. January 2, 2012. This entry is part 2 of 17 in TD3α Wrath of the Minotaur. Ince this would be Tess’ first role playing game, I thought continuing with the Fast-Play books would be prudent. The Eye of Wyvern is billed as. And Wrath of the Minotaur is. Being Dungeons and Dragons, I thought a dungeon crawl would be a lot more fun than throwing them out in the wilds. Galem made an offhand remark about the Tomb of Horrors. Sorry my wife was so ru...

A character driven actual play Labyrinth Lord campaign journal. Who are the Delvers? E are a family of four, playing Dungeons and Dragons. Our ages are all over the place. When we started in December 2010, the troublemaker halfling thief was the youngest at 8 years of age, the bloodthirsty half-elf fighter was 11, the strategic bossy elf cleric was 43 and the practical Dungeon Master was 34.
