Circle Theory: February 2014
http://circle-theory.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Living, working and dreaming in. Wednesday, 26 February 2014. The careful arrangement of strings, bells, lenses and mirrors I employ to wake me at the appointed time definitely did not work this morning. However, it's a sunny day so here's some bookmarks. Data modelling with MongoDB (general topic as I've been busy with re-writing bits of Xizi just recently):. Has a new, epic looking graphic novel out (shortly), TREES:. Http:/ www.warrenellis.com/? Some Kickstarters of note that I've backed recently:.

Circle Theory: July 2015
http://circle-theory.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Living, working and dreaming in. Thursday, 30 July 2015. My last set of posts about Using the Model-Store pattern in Inversion. Took a large heap of my blogging-concentration, but as they've been going since March it's good that they are finally out of the way. Work's going well and I'm getting my teeth stuck into producing a cloud-based platform for digital library services. For digitised collections, services like deep-zoom image serving, discovery, managing metadata and work with the emerging IIIF.

Living, working and dreaming in. Thursday, 30 April 2015. Using the Model-Store pattern in Inversion (part 2). This post is the second in a series about using a Model-Store pattern in the Inversion behavioural micro-framework for .Net. See: https:/ github.com/guy-murphy/inversion-dev. The first part can be found here. In this post, I'm going to talk about the IStore interface and how it can be implemented to be a lightweight, efficient data store that uses immutable models. This is in order to avoid dupl...

Circle Theory: Reading progress ...
http://circle-theory.blogspot.com/2015/05/reading-progress.html
Living, working and dreaming in. Thursday, 14 May 2015. Finished William Gibson's "The Peripheral" earlier this week after reaching about 80% of the way through it, realising that I was totally absorbed in it and that I didn't want it to end. So, I restarted the book and I am so glad that I did. It's an amazing, lushly detailed work. Very happy that he has returned to sci-fi with what might possibly be his finest work. Assassin's Apprentice (Book One of the Farseer Trilogy)" by Robin Hobb.

Circle Theory: January 2015
http://circle-theory.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Living, working and dreaming in. Tuesday, 27 January 2015. Spite Coding (Asura.Schema). It's only recently I've realised how much programming I do that is purely done out of spite. Latest example - Newtonsoft.Json.Schema library being released and it coming with licence restrictions. This really annoyed me*, and over last weekend, whilst sick and feverish from a chest and sinus infection, I wrote Asura.Schema. Which covers about 75% of the draft 4 standard for JSON schema. Links to this post. Figured I'd...

Living, working and dreaming in. Thursday, 10 July 2014. My letter to Angie Bray MP concerning the Data Retention and Investigatory Powers Bill. Dear Ms Bray,. This is bad legislation and an extremely underhanded way of extending already over-reaching powers of mass-surveillance in a fashion that stops democratic process from occurring. Please help turn this around, to offer fair scrutiny of this legislation, and to respect the higher Court of Human Justice of the EU. Links to this post.
