Tro Håb og Kærlighed: January 2015
http://thaarup.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tro Håb og Kærlighed. Thursday, January 29, 2015. Bed om fred for Jerusalem:. Gid de, som elsker dig, må leve trygt, gid freden må råde over din ringmur, og tryghed i dine borge! For mine brødres og venners skyld siger jeg: Fred over dig! Tro Håb og Kærlighed. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Dette skilt sidder heldigvis ikke i vores gård, men i en gård i nabolaget. Hvor vi bor, er der af og til fest i husene. Underboens datter fyldte rundt i lørdags og på underste etage var der fødselsdag i går. Og i denne ug...

I Hear You in the Wind: March Liturgical Madness
http://hearyouinthewind.blogspot.com/2013/03/march-liturgical-madness.html
I Hear You in the Wind. Listening for God and Answering His Call. Thursday, March 28, 2013. I often refer to Holy Week as "March Liturgical Madness". I work at a church so my humor is justified and helps with what can be exhausting and sometimes frustrating preparation: deadlines not being met, printer jamming, internet crashing, preparing service bulletins with different music and readings, changes and there is always little drama too! The term Cinderella story was used by Bill Murry in the 1980 hit mov...

I Hear You in the Wind. Listening for God and Answering His Call. Thursday, June 11, 2015. Reflection before Meetng with the COD. As I sit here as the sun rises the day of my interview with the Committee on the Diaconate I reflect on my spiritual journey . Every Postulants story is unique, special and personal. Why do I feel so nudged to share mine? And keep looking into the eyes of those you meet – friends and strangers alike – to see the image of God there. These words and the image of the braided rope...

I Hear You in the Wind: March 2012
http://hearyouinthewind.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
I Hear You in the Wind. Listening for God and Answering His Call. Friday, March 9, 2012. I had my Lent observance all planned out. Well, Lent has been anything but quiet for me. I have an internal restlessness that I have amplified on my own because I say to myself, "Maureen, you are messing Lent up! Oh forget about any type of fasting, it is girl scout cookie season after all! What I am realizing is I am holding on to everything that has been comfortable and familiar. The sand is shifting. I believe it ...

I Hear You in the Wind: November 2012
http://hearyouinthewind.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
I Hear You in the Wind. Listening for God and Answering His Call. Sunday, November 11, 2012. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you" James 4:8. I choose. We all choose. When we choose we draw the focus of our minds and hearts upon Him and we will find His presence in that moment. That is amazing, holy and sacred and available to everyone who invites God in. Am I present to God all the time? Am I present to my family, friends and work all the time? Posted by Hear you in the Wind. John 3:8 ( NRSV).

The Holy Spirit is always moving and shaking things up. adding new life and new understanding to the depth of our souls. God calls us to love. God calls us out of our comfort zone. Go...Open yourself...

I Hear You in the Wind: May 2014
http://hearyouinthewind.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
I Hear You in the Wind. Listening for God and Answering His Call. Saturday, May 31, 2014. A Letter to" My Elizabeth" on the Visitation. Today I will think about Mary and Elizabeth. I will pray, reflect and feel that joy that radiated from their friendship. Their friendship shared the journey in a way that only that kind of friendship can understand. How blessed these women were to have each other. Today, on this day of the visitation, I thank God for Rev. Mary Kay, my Elizabeth. I thank you for these.

LiturgyGeek: August 2010
http://liturgygeek.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
A blog about liturgy, faith, snark, beagles, and whatever strikes my fancy. Hopefully mostly liturgy. Friday, August 13, 2010. Dear friends, I am off to Costa Rica for the next month, living with a host family and learning Spanish. I am only slightly terrified, as I know about 40 words in Spanish and won't know anyone in this program. And my darling Backbencher and I will be apart for the whole month. If you live in the area, please ply him with food and drinks in my absence. Wednesday, August 04, 2010.

This Missourian Life: Episode 30: On Holy Fierceness
http://thismissourianlife.blogspot.com/2014/08/episode-30-on-holy-fierceness.html
Each week(ish) I make like Ira Glass and choose a theme and put together an on-the-short-side blog entry about that theme. I'm Jamie Haskins and this is This Missourian Life. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Episode 30: On Holy Fierceness. Last year in one of my courses, an intelligent, dynamic young female student began her statement with the following: " well, I don't know if this is right but. I immediately stopped her and asked her just why. I might be off target here but.". This might sound crazy but.".
