Welcome to Dis-Pro.com. The tradition continues. Paul Gockel and Charlie Amey are shown here replacing the sheer plank on the late Bruce Clarke's Dis-Pro Hawkestone. 3383) during the spring of 1980. This was the Uncle Sam dippy that eventually made a successful trip up the Mackenzie River, into the Arctic Ocean, and did a u-turn and came back in one piece. Mr. Clarke had re-enacted a trip undertaken in 1922 as a dis-pro promotional stunt. Hawkestone. Continues to reside in Port Carling, Ontario.
