Performer and song-writer, Carrie Newcomer, who will be performing at this summer's General Assembly in Indianapolis, will be leading a workshop on vocational reflection entitled "Soul's Great Joy Meets the World's Deep Needs: Exploring, Vocation, Calling, and Authentic Work" at Central Christian Church in Marshalltown, IA on April 4 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Cost is $30 in advance per person with lunch included.

This past weekend I got to be a participant and not a leader- it was refreshing. I got to know other Disciples of Christ folks who love to sing and I got to know some of my Livingston folks a little better (Thanks Ricky, Shirley, Trish and Beverly). We had a great time.
