As during my semester in Edinburgh as an exchange student (see Edinblogh. I will bravely attempt to keep up a blog. (The title is a pun on the fact that UConn is situated in the middle of nowhere.). Start of Halloween right by listening to Matt Debacco talk about the conditions needed to grow giant pumpkins and the challenges that occur when producing award winning pumpkins. Matt broke the Connecticut pumpkin record in 2008 when he produced a 1353 lb pumpkin. This pumpkin continues to hold the state record.". I'll try to update at some point in life.

Graffitti to świetny pomysł na taki szary, szpitalny mur. Kilka z nich było na tyle uwagoprzykuwalnych, że poświęcam im osobny post :). Tuesday, 22 February 2011. OK, so I posted some random things about the Chinese shops in Paramaribo, but a few days later I discovered totally different image of them. We stumbled on a shop, with a red carpet in front of the door (seriously! So we went in. And WOW! A few fridges filled with vegetables and fruit presented to our eyes. What a view! But they looked pretty decent and the nicely organized on the shelves goods were quite expensive. Another view at the shop. Isn't the name of the brand funny?

Sunday, 28 June 2009. I decided to write a separate post about two events we took (passive) part in. It was a cultural festival organized by the international student network and a theater play with our friend Pim in the main part.
