Mission and Central activities:. The Genomic and Bioinformatics Group is run under the auspices of Dr. Yves Pommier. The site was originally developed by Dr. John Weinstein. It is currently being supervised by Mr. William Reinhold. Freely available for public use are our professional grade Miner Suite bioinformatics software package, as well as our characterization and annalysis of the NCI-60 cancer cell lines, the DNA, RNA, protein, epigenetic and pharmacological levels (accessible through CellMiner).

CIMminer generates color-coded Clustered Image Maps (CIMs) ("heat maps") to represent "high-dimensional" data sets such as gene expression profiles.
