Monster Sitings: August 2013
http://scsanders.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 06, 2013. Vancouver 10k Sun Run. My sister-in-law leant me her jogging stroller, which is easier to maneuver in crowds. It was great! Both kids ended up sleeping through almost half the race again this year. Near the end of the race, Zeke was getting restless, so Lily reached forward and held his hand. It was so cute to see them holding hands. I wish I had got a picture of it, because it was so sweet. It was just what Zeke needed to help him relax until the race ended. Mr Erickson is able...

Monster Sitings: Lily’s 6th Birthday
http://scsanders.blogspot.com/2013/08/lilys-6th-birthday.html
Tuesday, August 06, 2013. Lily’s 6th Birthday. Lily’s birthday celebration was very perpetual. With our lives being so crazy, it was all I could do to break it up and make sure I gave her everything I promised. It ended up being a month of birthday celebrations for her. Lily had really wanted to ride the giant Ferris Wheel in Seattle. I doubted she would really want to ride it though. She’s so cautious! The second picture is us showing our “excited faces.”). Lily’s teacher is amazing! We spent Lily’...

Monster Sitings: He’s off . . .
http://scsanders.blogspot.com/2013/09/hes-off.html
Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He’s off . . . A few days later, Scott drove away with a very full car to Texas. It scared me to death! Scott drove me to work one last time before he headed on his way. It was bitter-sweet. I was relieved every time Scott called me to tell me how he was doing. He listened to audio books, which helped him stay attentive at the wheel. Monster Sitings: Baby #3
http://scsanders.blogspot.com/2013/04/baby-3.html
Monday, April 08, 2013. Compared to others, I’ve been blessed with very easy pregnancies. I was queasy, but not really nauseous with Lily. With Zeke I was terribly nauseous for three weeks and then it was smooth sailing. I’ve always been grateful, and I’ve tried not to take it for granted. We had the kids wear their shirts over to my parents’ house to announce the news to them. But Zeke tripped on the way into the house and ended up skinning his hands. While I tended to him in the kitchen, ...And I was s...

Monster Sitings: Moving Day
http://scsanders.blogspot.com/2013/09/moving-day.html
Monday, September 02, 2013. I wish we had had time to rest and recuperate from our trip, but we had two days to move out of our house. What a crazy month! We were so exhausted! I felt bad for Scott, he had to go to work the next day. I could at least sleep in a little bit. (Thank goodness Lily had afternoon Kindergarten.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monster Sitings: General Conference with kids
http://scsanders.blogspot.com/2013/08/general-conference-with-kids.html
Thursday, August 01, 2013. General Conference with kids. Twice a year our church holds General Conference. I wanted Lily and Zeke to start looking forward to conference the way I do. I also wanted them to start listening to all the session. Building a fort with the kitchen table and blankets. Play Dough: the kids love playing with play dough. I so wanted to do a happy dance right then and there, but I tried to restrain my celebration.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lily greets Zeke coming home.

Monster Sitings: February 2013
http://scsanders.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 19, 2013. So while we were sad for ourselves, we rejoiced for Grandma. Warning: This is a long post with few pictures, but a lot of entertaining stories. * *. Our journey to and from Phoenix was an adventure. Scott and the kids had such a misadventure. The boy was a really good sport about it and was patient as he coached Zeke how to play the game. 8221; I just laughed and told him what happened. He was so surprised! We finally made it to Phoenix. We then had to track down our bags,...
