Tuesday, August 06, 2013. Vancouver 10k Sun Run. My sister-in-law leant me her jogging stroller, which is easier to maneuver in crowds. It was great! Both kids ended up sleeping through almost half the race again this year. Near the end of the race, Zeke was getting restless, so Lily reached forward and held his hand. It was so cute to see them holding hands. I wish I had got a picture of it, because it was so sweet. It was just what Zeke needed to help him relax until the race ended. Mr Erickson is able...

With our lives being so crazy, it was all I could do to break it up and make sure I gave her everything I promised. It ended up being a month of birthday celebrations for her. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He’s off . . . A few days later, Scott drove away with a very full car to Texas. It scared me to death! Scott drove me to work one last time before he headed on his way. It was bitter-sweet. I was relieved every time Scott called me to tell me how he was doing. He listened to audio books, which helped him stay attentive at the wheel. Monday, April 08, 2013. Compared to others, I’ve been blessed with very easy pregnancies. I was queasy, but not really nauseous with Lily. With Zeke I was terribly nauseous for three weeks and then it was smooth sailing. I’ve always been grateful, and I’ve tried not to take it for granted. Monday, September 02, 2013. I wish we had had time to rest and recuperate from our trip, but we had two days to move out of our house. What a crazy month! We were so exhausted!
