Saturday, March 21, 2015. March gets a bit overlooked at our house. I'm exhausted from February - two birthdays and two holidays will do that to a mom. We still do celebrate two holidays in March (pi day and St. Patrick's Day), but we keep those low-key. So sorry, Kate! A few months ago, my sister, Michelle, called and proposed the idea of me, her and our brother, Jarom, flying to St. Louis to surprise our other sister, Valerie, on her birthday. Friday, October 31, 2014. It was quite a perfect Halloween. The weather hovered in the low 70s with no wind. The kids all loved their costumes and looked adorable! I think they all had great ideas of what they wanted to be and it was one of the easier years to put costumes together for mom. Great on all accounts! Wednesday, April 29, 2015. I love toddler's views of their bodies. They are figuring out how their bodies work, identifying body parts and trying to make sense of it all. Guard is hilarious in describing his body:. 1 "My eye balls can see those deer in the field.". 2 "My eye balls! Monday, March 16, 2015. 1 Kate was the star student in her class this week. She made a poster all about her. Her favorites include pizza, Wild Kratts, Mr. Willoughby's Christmas Tree among others. Sunday, August 31, 2014. An early Christmas in St. George. Since Grandma and Grandpa won't be here for Christmas this year, we decided to celebrate early while we were all in St. George (excepts for the Fords who are in St. Louis - we miss you! We decorated the tree. We ate a big breakfast of French toast, bacon and juice. We were so excited - Gavin especially! Sunday, February 22, 2015. 1 Guard loves helping Greg make his lunch in the mornings. Usually Guard is in charge of getting the ice packs from the freezer and the chocolate milk packet from the pantry. But today, Guard was up early and decided to pack Greg's entire lunch. Saturday, September 20, 2014. Fall Leaves in the Canyon. We knew if we didn't get up the canyon we would miss the fall leaves. After dinner, we loaded into the van and made the short drive to American Fork Canyon. We were not the only ones with this idea! The canyon was busy - I counted 8-10 families just at Tibblefork getting professional pictures done. Guard's favorite were the orange leaves. Really?
