http://dispatchesfromtheisland.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Dispatches from the Island. A blog by Jorge Garcia. Monday, December 28, 2009. This year I went to Wisconsin for Christmas. Braving the cold weather and experiencing fresh snow for the first time. The last time I was in WI it snowed for a moment. But not enough to cover the ground. Apparently I was being watched. Posted by Jorge Garcia. Saturday, December 26, 2009. Man are the Geckos in the neighborhood tail-less? Even the baby ones? Posted by Jorge Garcia. Friday, December 25, 2009. This is Nunu's woobie.

Dispatches from the Island. A blog by Jorge Garcia. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Last Night in Dublin. And I'm hanging out in a hallway to use the internet. The building in which I am staying is a new addition to this hotel and does not have wifi. But here in the basement of the main hotel there is access. Luckily here in the basement there is also a chair. . Posted by Jorge Garcia. Always keen to start blogging! Haha, keep it up! June 24, 2008 at 1:22 PM. June 24, 2008 at 1:24 PM. http://dispatchesfromtheisland.blogspot.com/2010/05/nunu-greatest.html

Dispatches from the Island. A blog by Jorge Garcia. Monday, May 31, 2010. Nunu, the Greatest. It breaks my heart to tell you that yesterday as we were preparing to all go to the airport Nunu was struck by a car as she crossed the street. She died in my arms. Please understand that I have turned off commenting on this blog because I really can't deal with approving them all. I did go through and label the posts that feature her should you want to go through them. We love and miss her very much.

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Girl Scout Roller Skaters. I love these 2 little ladies! King J, Queen M, Princess E and Princess M. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. We started our summer with a bang this year. The Saturday after school let out, King J's work had their annual summer party at a local lake that also has a water park. The morning was spent doing games and raffles and then the after lunch we all got tickets to the water park. It was SO much fun. We hope they do it again next year. A day on the Farm.

Dispatches from the Mess

Sunday, 18 March 2018. These GMB flags are superb and easy to mount. I paint the areas that tend to over-lap when bending the flags into shape. I know I'm a bit late with this but, Happy St Patrick's Day! I love this Bartek cartoon of a temptress chasseur of Napoleon's French Irish Legion. It's a regiment I intend to paint up at some stage, but the figures certainly won't look like this! A wee treat to celebrate my Irish ancestry. Links to this post. Saturday, 24 February 2018. Thanks for having a look!
